PROPERTY ACCESS
PROPERTY ACCESS
We understand that if you are a wheelchair user or have mobility issues it can become impossible to be able to get in and out of your property and this can become dangerous to our customers especially those who do not have someone with them to help 24 hours a day. To combat this we offer a range of access solutions to suit each individual customer and property.
Ramps

An affordable solution for wheelchair users our ramps can be designed to be built at the front or rear of your property. We pride ourselves with using high quality materials and designing our ramps to suit our customers needs, complying with health and safety regulations means that our ramps are never to steep and can be used independently, we would never fit a ramp if there is not enough space to make it safe for our customers to use. We can use tactile paving where needed for our visually impaired customers. We can also provide wooden threshold ramps as a temporary solution.
Steps

We can also supply and fit steps at the front or rear access of your property wide enough to accommodate a zimmer frame, this a solution for non-wheelchair users who are struggling with front or rear access.
Handrail

To go alongside our ramps and steps for the safety of our customers we offer an affordable mild steel handrail. Some of our customers prefer cast iron handrail which can be installed at an additional cost, Please contact us for further details.
Door widenings

As part of making our customers properties accessible, where needed we need to widen doors internally and externally, all works are undertaken by our fully qualified builders and our customers health and safety is always our priority. If you are struggling to access a room in your property due to being a wheelchair user contact us for further information.
Raising floor height

Sometimes we find that even the most simple of solutions can make a difference to our customers being able to access their property, one of these is raising the height of a customers existing floor so that they can use their wheelchair independently without having to go up any slopes or high thresholds. People with mobility issues who are not wheelchair users also can find an uneven floor difficult to negotiate, we aim to find the simplest solution for our customers to enable them to feel safe and independent in their own home.
